Tara

Tara Watts, acclaimed hair designer and award winning salon owner from downtown Calgary, opened hue hair salon + eco boutiq in January 2008. Throughout her 17 year career in the beauty industry, she has worked as a stylist, educator, stage artist, and salon owner. Tara works with all aspects of hair, believing that individuality and attention to detail are key in customizing styles.

Hair is an extension of personality and is expressed through one's style. Tara embraces eclectic and original styles both in her work and in her own sense of fashion. She is regarded for her specialized touch with natural curls and special occasion hair, and her expertise with bridal parties has taken her across Canada as well Mexico, Cuba, and Jamaica. Tara is always challenging and re-inventing her craft as a hair designer and travels throughout North America for training.
